Choose your cause!

April 1st, 2008

Your next writing assignment is to write a persuasive essay convincing the public to “JOIN, GIVE, or DO” something. You will need to choose a cause important to you, research the issue, and write a convincing essay. Your essay should be between 500-750 words and should include a clear call to action! Here is a site called “do something . org” to help you get started. You can also choose to do something more locally focused. Post any other good research sites or ideas or questions you have here so others can help.  Try Caroline’s site “good search”  instead of mine. It’s better.

    I have a really cool website. It’s called goodsearch.com when you search on goodsearch you can choose a cause and they will donate money to that cause! It is so cool so when you are looking up your cause use good search!

    Marie, your choices look very cool but I am doing three other things for mine, Animal testing, Animal abuse, and Global Warming.

    hi guys guess what?

    Mars candy producers that make M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, Dove, Three Musketeers, Starburst, Skittles, and some other candies—funds deadly animal tests, even though there are better human studies and none of the tests is required by law. I am now trying to stop this. Please help me, DON’T BUY ANY OF THESE CANDY’S! This company is hurting poor innocent animals :( :(( how sad is that?
