United Streaming (now called Discovery Streaming) is a great source of information. In addition to the video segments, try searching for images and articles. Remember, go to the district’s website, and click on the tab, “for students”. Log in to Ed1Stop. Your username is “susan_murphy_stu”. Your password is “seastars28″. Find Discovery Streaming under “my research tools”.  If you find good websites for information, please include them in your comments.  I will check them out and post the links.

Crop Circles

Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia. Its articles are composed of the contributions of its users. In this sense, Wikipedia is like an Internet community where people share knowledge about a wide variety of subjects. While Wikipedia is a great free source of knowledge, its important to remember that it is only as accurate as the information users contribute.

Now, using Wikipedia, research either crop circles (not the rock band) or the Bermuda Triangle. What are some of the different theories about the nature of these mysteries? Based on the information you find about these mysteries, what is your opinion of them? Here is a link to Wikipedia’s website: http://www.wikipedia.org/
