Technology at Linscott Charter School
Welcome! Linscott Charter School has a computer lab which is housed in our library. We have approximately 10 desktop computers as well as a laptop cart which houses an addtional 10 laptops. In addition, each classroom has between 1 an 4 computers of their own. On any give day.
Our school is excited to have two LCD projectors which travel from room to room. Teachers and students use the projectors to create and view presentations.
Students use computers in a variety of ways at our school. Many students use word processing programs to publish writing from their classes . They also use a variety of programs which are utilized to teach and reinforce math and reading concepts. Older students use the web to do research for reports and projects. They also use Power point and other presentation programs to create and share projects with other students.
