A new web-based resource for teachers and students for teaching and learning technology.
All Students will need to know their Student ID number and birth date in order to log-in to computers and programs at Cesar E. Chavez Middle School. All information is available to students in the main office in order to log-in.
Teachers and Students have the ability to view educational videos on various topics.
New technology available
- 3 Tech Carts (Laptop, LCD projector, Speakers)
- DVD/ LCD projector cart
- 13 new student computers (To be placed in Language Arts Classrooms)
The computer lab is open at lunch and after school for student use in addition access is available to all classroom teachers for students to research, complete assignments and take Accelerated Reader quizzes for books they have read. The available software for students to use is the Microsoft office software suite with Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel. In addition, a keyboarding program, Ulrakey, is available for students to learn and practice typing.
At CCMS all teacher have a computer for use in their classrooms to take attendance and develop lesson plans and class assignments. In addition, all classrooms have a student computer available for student use to complete Accelerated Reader quizzes, complete assignments and projects. Finally the computer lab is open at lunch and after school for student use in addition access is available to all classroom teachers for students to research, complete assignments and take Accelerated Reader quizzes for books they have read.
