SWEET Grant comes to Bradley

The SWEET Grant  has come to Bradley and has provided new computers, Smart Boards, projectors and laptops to teach writing curriculum to our school . The grant that was written by Grant Coffin grant written, provided these new technology to our school and has enabled two teachers the use of the Smartboard technology to use with computers in class to open up a new level of education techniques and enables students to access the internet to be viewed by all students in class, such as overhead projectors are use, but we can show movies of events from educational websites and use the board to present lessons and expand the ability of teachers and students to teach and learn.   We are truly thrilled to have this new technology in our school and we are looking forward in utilizing it for years to come. This use of the Technology has inspired other teachers at Bradley to develop new teaching lessons to use the Lab smartboard while their classes are using the computer lab.  Will keep you posted on our progress.

Beginning of a new year 2007-2008.

The new year has brought new excitement to the Bradley campus. We have added new teachers to campus, seen one teacher, Betty Luzovich, retire after 44 years in the district. Betty can’t stay away as she comes everyday to assist in her teaching buddy’s room Celmi Williams. David Manier has joined GATE at the district office. Two of our primary teachers were married during the summer months and April English, now Nelson just gave birth to a girl on Sept 5th. Congratulations April.

We are welcoming new students to our campus as our boundries have expanded and has added students that will follow the district’s boundries for students to go to the same junior and senior high schools. This has brought classes up to capacity, with little room to add more students. We have high expectations for our students and we are working hard to meet the challenges for this year.
