Alianza Charter School is a dual language Spanish / English immersion bilingual program that tries to integrate technology in any way it can. Teachers at Alianza each receive a laptop which they use to have extensive community discussion via email threads and to use in the access of resources for use in their classrooms. We are all open to learning more about how to teach our students to be bilingual, social justice oriented, academically prepared leaders of the future through technology and would welcome hearing from other schools who have ideas we could apply.  Thank you for reading our page!

Imagine parents being able to tell their family stories through their children and having those memories published in a form where others see it as part of a Film Festival? This is what students involved in Digital Storytelling work on throughout the year with 7th/8th English Language Arts teacher, Graciela Vega and in the After School Program with Fred Mindlin.
