WAAE No Comments »“Browser” is the category of software that displays websites on your screen. The most familiar browser is Internet Explorer since it is installed on every Windows computer but there are better choices. Firefox is a free browser that is available to anyone with a Windows, Macintosh or Linux computer. You can download it at www.mozilla.com from any type of computer and their website will give you the correct version automatically (click on their big green button Download).
One reason I prefer Firefox is their free “add-ons”. You can add extra features to this browser. I’ve added a feature that synchronizes all my bookmarks. If I find a great website when I’m home the bookmark is automatically available to me at school. This add-on is called Foxmarks and it is available with other add-ons at
